What a weekend. We started our Easter festivites off with a little easter egg hunt on Friday night at my Dad's. Jayden's eggs weren't really hidden just thrown in the grass. He hasn't spent much time playing in the grass, so he was a little hesitant to crawl let alone touch it. He did manage to get all of his eggs in his basket with a little help from cousin Lydia. He enjoyed dumping them out and chewing on them more than hunting them.

Saturday night we headed over to my Mom's for Easter dinner with my her side of the family. We didn't have the traditional easter dinner, but we did have cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cottage cheese. One of my favorites. YUMMY!!! We had a small easter egg hunt with Lydia too, but Jayden fell asleep so he didn't get in on the fun. He did enjoy watching Daddy and all the kids while they played basketball. We ended the night with banana pudding and pineapple upside down cake.

Easter Morning Jayden was excited to see all of his goodies that the Easter Bunny left him.

Sunday afternoon we headed up to visit with Josh's family. We enjoyed a delicious dinner followed by even more satisfying dessert. Once we had enough energy built back up, we took the kids out for an egg hunt. We had hid 60 eggs for 4 kids to find. There are still 2 eggs out there somewhere. Someone must have hid them to well. Before we headed home, we walked over to see the ponys and the new baby calf. Jayden really seemed to like them.

What a wonderful weekend.
