He definitely has his fathers appetite. When we left the hospital he was taking anywhere between 30-40cc of formula (my milk hadn't come in yet), and now at only a week old he is up to 3oz. My milk is now in, but I'm still not able to keep up with him. He gets breast milk all day and then formula at night.
His sleeping patterns are a little off. He is very alert late at night. The last couple nights he has been staying up until 12:30 p.m. and eating as much formula as his little tummy will hold and then falls asleep and doesn't get up again until around 5:00. Then eats again and is down for another 3 hrs. We are working on this. He did sleep well last night, so hopefully that is his new pattern.
Josh has truly been a blessing this week. It was very difficult for me to move around a lot whenever we first came home due to the stitches, but with Josh here with me I was able to take care of the baby, get a couple of extra hours of much needed sleep, keep up with laundry, and keep the house picked up. I don't know what I'm going to do without him when he has to go back to work next week.
We have had several visitors since we have been home. Sometimes he has been asleep, but for the lucky ones he has been awake and very alert.

At home relaxing (thanks for the picture Aunt Amanda)

At 1st doctors appointment
Jayden's 1st smile caught on camera (mommy and daddywere laughing, so he thought he would join in the fun).
Glad things are going well. He's a cutie!
